Behrampore: A month-old baby lost consciousness in his mother's arms when a bomb exploded a few feet from their house during a clash between two groups of suspected Trinamul workers in Murshidabad's Samserganj on Thursday morning. The mother had the baby in the lap and was rolling beedi outside her father's home when the bomb exploded. The baby, Ahmed Sheikh, was rushed to Jangipur subdivisional hospital, where he regained consciousness after about two hours. One bomb exploded about a dozen feet away from the house. Neighbours arranged for a car to take the baby to Jangipur sub-divisional hospital.
