TIP led from the opening tip and looked to blow out a UP squad playing without Ricci Rivero for the second consecutive match. The Engineers led by as much as 17-points, 47-30, at the 5:55 mark of the second period following a jumper by Bryan Santos. Heading into the fourth period, the Engineers posted an 11-point lead, and had beat back every UP attempt at a rally. TIP held on for the win to even their slate at 1-1. For UP, Webb led with 18 while Gregorio and Migo Santos each tacked on 11 markers each.
