During the previous assembly, the attendees validated CTEC competency standards (CTECs CS), drafted competency asssessment tools (CATs), and mapped CTEC networks. Former TESDA Director General Edicio dela Torre graced the event as well and discussed the need to professionalize the CTECs. Edgar Chatto, Regional Director Leocadio Trovela, representing Undersecretary Epimaco Densing III of DILG, TESDA Regional Director Toni June Tamayo, and Provincial Director Joel Pilotin were also present during the event. The CTEC Training Regulation is also expected to be promulgated this year.
