A woman employed by the Toronto District School Board has been arrested following an investigation into a decade-old sexual assault case. She is currently on home assignment, “pending outcome of the matter.”The school sent a letter to parents Thursday advising them of the arrest. According to a Toronto police statement, the woman is accused of sexually assaulting a student during and after school hours between September 2001 and June 2003. The woman worked at Bloor Collegiate Institute as an educational assistant during the time of the alleged sexual assaults and currently is employed at The Elms Junior Middle School & Boys Leadership Academy in Etobicoke, as a teacher in the short-term behaviour program. The student was between 14 and 16 at the time.
