The 28-day still offered this week with P10 billion, had tenders of P10.37 billion versus last week’s P11.14 billion. The BSP approved last week three cuts to the reserve requirement ratio (RRR) for a combined 200 basis points (bps) reduction. Last year, when the BSP reduced the RRR also by 200 bps, banks placed the excess liquidity right back at the BSP via the TDF.
