TAIEX saw increase of around 1.67% last weekTAIPEI, Taiwan -- According to Taiwan Stock Exchange Co. (TWSE) statistics, TAIEX closed at 9,159.07 on Nov. 25, up 150.28 from 9,008.79 a week earlier, an increase of approximately 1.67 percent. The FTSE TWSE Taiwan 50 Index closed at 6,931.07, up 92.36 from 6,838.71 a week earlier, an increase of approximately 1.35 percent. The Formosa Index closed at 10,514.00, up 167.95 from 10,346.05 a week before, an increase of approximately 1.62 percent. The total trading value for year-to-date was NT$17.26 trillion on the TWSE market. The total market capitalization of TWSE-listed stocks amounted to NT$27.11 trillion at the end of last week.
