But the one behind its latest launch — a trio of ceramic vessels designed by the London-based designer Max Lamb — is especially rich. At 2007’s Design Miami, Neilson came upon a booth in which designers were making work in real time. When Lamb accompanied Neilson to another booth and saw a series of Blunk-designed sculptures and furniture carved from redwood, he felt a similar affinity. He even dug clay from the same hillside as Blunk and fired his works in the same kiln. Like Blunk, Lamb values usability.
