However, in war-torn Syria, children have lost all hopes of fun and play and have been living in adverse conditions for the last five years. However, The Revolutionary Forces of Syria Media Office is not the only one using Pokémon Go to highlight the crisis. The Revolutionary Forces of Syria Media Office created a photo series of Syrian children holding up photos of pokemon along with a plea of help to bring the world's attention to the Syria crisis. The world has become obsessed with this video game which influenced the Tahhan and the Syrian media to use it as a medium to convey their country's suffering.
