Neurotechnology firm SyncThink has earned its CE Mark certifications to reach ISO 13485 European Medical Device Regulation (MDR), allowing the company’s EYE-SYNC technology to register as a Class I medical device, it announced on Wednesday. The achievement will allow the company to expand its solution across the European Union (EU) region and United Kingdom as it strategically targets major markets for emerging medical tools. Numerous healthcare providers, hospitals, military, sports, and other institutions have trusted and deployed EYE-SYNC for their patients. Gary Gregory, SyncThink Chief Executive, said that the certification was a “tremendous advancement” to providing “objective, reliable measures of neurological function” for European healthcare providers.
