Rico Syme, a rising rugby talent from Christchurch New Zealand, has recently been selected by David Campese to be part of the McDonald’s Ambassador All-Star side for the Fiji’s Coral Coast 7s in Sigatoka later this month. Rico has expressed his admiration for the people of Fiji and is looking forward to getting to know his teammates. Rico’s admiration for rugby players such as Benji Marshall and Jerry Tuwai reflects his love for the game and his aspiration to make a significant impact on the sport. “Being selected by a legend like David Campese for a prestigious tournament like the Coral Coast 7s is a humbling experience, really grateful for the opportunity to showcase my skills in such a high-quality event,” said Syme. The Coral Coast 7s will kick off on January 19 at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.
