Khadiza Begum Nargis was sent to the capital in the early hours of Tuesday, said Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital's Deputy Director Abdus Salam. Khadiza, an honours second year student, was mercilessly attacked at MC College campus on Monday afternoon by Badrul Islam, an economics department student at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). Meanwhile, a video footage of the attack, recorded on mobile phone by a bystander, has gone viral on social media. SUST BCL unit's General Secretary Imran Ahmed said Islam is the son of one Saidur Rahman of Sunamganj. Ahmed said organisational action would be taken against Islam if a case is lodged against him.
