The first namaz-e-janaza of Syed Ashraful Islam was held at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on January 6, 2018 PIDThe namaz-e-janaza was held at the Sholakia Eidgah in KishoreganjThe second namaz-e-janaza of Syed Ashraful Islam, former Awami League general secretary and public administration minister of the previous Cabinet, has been held in Kishoreganj. Earlier, the first namaz-e-janaza was held at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban around 10:30am. President Abdul Hamid also took part in the janaza while Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, along with other senior female leaders of the Awami League, were present at the Sangsad Bhaban premises. His body was flown to Kishoreganj via helicopter for the second janaza around 12pm. A third janaza will be held at Anjuman Eidgah grounds in Mymensingh around 2pm.
