Switzerland Appoints Several New Ambassadors & Delegates Worldwide


The Swiss Federal Council has published staff changes for 2022 and the issuance of ambassadorial titles that have been announced for some Swiss representations abroad and delegates from the headquarters of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) and the Federal Department of Home Affairs (FDHA). Stalde, who resides in Antananarivo, is currently the head of the Swiss mission to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Paris. As the Council explains, Markus Reubi has been appointed as the Delegate of the Federal Council for the 2030 Agenda in Bern. Meanwhile, he is currently the deputy head of the mission (with ministerial ranks) in Tokyo. Currently, Gürber is the director (with the title of ambassador) of the Geneva Center for Security Sector Governance (DCAF) in Geneva.
