Photo/Kelvin KaraniChampions Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa stamped their authority by dominating day one of the Coast Junior swimming gala, yesterday. The event held at the 25-metre long swimming pool at Aga Khan saw the host take advantage of home support to take the lion’s share by winning most races. In boys’ seven years 100m Individual Medley (IM), Ethan Maina of Aga Khan Academy clocked 1.47.20 for the first position with Aryan Joseph and Tendo Mua of Dolphins and Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa timed at 1.50.92 and 1.55.05 for second and third. Aga Khan added another trophy after Alexandra Hart won the girls nine years 10m IM in 1.30.08.
