More than 150 swimmers braved the waters of Bray Lake for an ‘unforgettable day’ in Thames Hospice’s Open Water Swim Challenge. “Francesca spent her last few days at Thames Hospice in March and I know she would find it really funny I have been in the lake,” she said. As a charity, Thames Hospice receives much of its funding through donations and enormous fundraising efforts of the community. Thames Hospice’s Events Fundraiser Emma Andrews says, “The swimmers were absolutely amazing, not to mention all the spectators cheering from the lakeside.
