The man's death will be referred to the coroner (file photo)A man has died after being pulled from the water of a popular Coromandel beach on Sunday afternoon. Emergency services were called to Hot Water Beach just before 4pm. The Auckland Rescue Helicopter was dispatched after reports a man in his 50s was struggling in the water. He was pulled from the water and given CPR before the helicopter arrived, a spokesman said. The death will be referred to the coroner.
