The ceremony, traditionally held when a Knight of the Order dies, is scheduled for October 26 in Stockholm, the same date as the Royal Cremation ceremony in Thailand. The event will see a parade by Royal Honour Guard troops, who will take King Bhumibol’s Coat of Arms from Stockholm Palace to Riddarholmen Church at 11.55am local time. A special ceremony, called Serafimerringningen, will be conducted from noon to 1pm during which the church bells will be rung constantly. After the ceremony, the late King’s Coat of Arms will be kept at the church, according to Group Captain Manat Chavanaprayoon, former Royal Thai Air Force Defence and Air Attache to Stockholm .
