David Brown notes the irony that Aung San Suu Kyi, who once won a Nobel Peace Prize, is now a mouthpiece for a genocidal government. Many people believe in “human” rights for those they regard as equal human beings. There are apologists who keep saying Suu Kyi really cares but is powerless to do anything about it. This is the real Aung San Suu Kyi! She’s is indeed a fighter for freedom for people who look like her and couldn’t care less about the Rohingya.
