Sussex restaurants among Times' best places to eat this summer

The “little black book of summer recommendations”, published by The Times, features two restaurants in Brighton and one in Worthing, which were chosen by Britain’s best chefs and restauranteurs. Crabshack in Marine Parade, Worthing, boats great service, a lovely atmosphere and amazing food. Chosen by Isaac Bartlett-Copeland, chef at Embers in Brighton, he said: “This is right on the beach and makes you feel like you’re on a Spanish island. The crab is as fresh as it gets.”Rybka, which also featured on the list, has two locations in Brighton - in Meeting House Lane and Shelter Hall. The restaurant’s name comes from an old Polish saying - “rybka lubi plywac” or “the fish likes to swim”, which relates to the tradition of eating pickled fish with a generous chaser of frozen vodka.
