Toronto police now say a "suspicious package" they detonated in front of the Air Canada Centre Friday evening was a plastic replica grenade. The investigation also restricted access to gates five and six and took place as the Raptors played the Dallas Mavericks at the Air Canada Centre. Police told CBC Toronto that they received a call about the suspicious package before 6 p.m. and were attempting to resolve the situation before the start of the game. After the incident at Maple Leaf Square, police and the CBRNE team responded to another report of a suspicious package Blue Jays Way and Northern Linear Trail.
