Investigators will return to the scene of a "suspicious" house fire in Tauranga at first light on Monday. The unoccupied home on Waikete Rd in Welcome Bay went up in flames around 10.30pm on Sunday. Neighbours heard the commotion and phoned 111, Greerton brigade Senior Station Officer Neil Patrick said. He said the house was unoccupied and given there was no one home at the time, the fire was being treated as suspicious.
