One key finding was the significant deterioration in their experience of education following the transition to post-primary school. Lead author Sarah Murphy said the report revealed "a range of preventable system failures in the Irish education system, which increase the risk of exclusion from the system... with knock-on impacts that heighten the risks of homelessness".
