Three suspended Jubilee Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) have been reinstated and their benefits restored. Consequently, assembly Speaker Benson Mutura – through a communication to the House - allowed the ward reps back and directed that their benefits be reinstated. They were also punished for undermining the party’s leadership at the national and county levels as well as mobilising and openly associating with those opposed to Jubilee Party’s position. Consequently, Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju, through a letter to the assembly called on the Speaker to suspend the MCAs. But the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal found Jubilee Party's decision went against the law.
