The Investigating Officer of the case submitted the status report, as per which Singh and Mir were arrested on March 14 and March 19 respectively. However, both will continue to remain in judicial custody in connection with the case registered by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in January. “Accused Davinder Singh continues to be in judicial custody in the NIA case. The suspended police officer was first arrested on January 11, while allegedly travelling with two Hizb men on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway. Subsequently, the NIA took over the case and arrested several others for their alleged involvement.
