GEORGE TOWN: A suspected snatch thief was arrested by police following a high speed car chase which ended in Persiaran Tanjung Bunga 1 here this afternoon. In the 3.15pm incident, two police patrol cars had received a call for help from the southwest district traffic team who was pursuing the suspect. The suspect's car, driven at high speed, eventually sped past and they gave chase, along with the southwest district traffic team and civilians. "The police patrol cars gave chase, causing the suspect to ram into them. He said due to the collision, one of the police patrol cars left with severely damages.
