Map of Comilla district Dhaka TribuneA case was filed against 700/800 unnamed people following the death of the robberA suspected robber, presumed to be aged 35, was killed in a mob beating in Moddhom Bijoypur village of Sadar Dakkhin (South) upazila in Comilla early Monday. The identity of the deceased could not be confirmed yet, said Sadar Dakkhin Model police station Officer-in-Charge Md Nazrul Islam. However, one of the robbers managed to escape from the scene, but villagers beat the other robber to death on the spot. Being informed of the incident, police reached the village and recovered the dead body of the robber, he said. Members of Police Bureau Investigation (PBI) collected fingerprints of the dead robber to pin down identity.”Meanwhile a case was filed against 700/800 unnamed people following the death of the robber, the police added.
