Local police's Inspector Harun-ur-Rashid said the incident was reported was around 4am at Ruhitapar in Bakerganj municipality. He said Khokan Khan, 32, who was killed, was wanted in connection with a robbery at police officer's house in Bakerganj municipality in August. Police took him on a raid to recover weapons. He said Khokan was taken to the Upazila health complex in injured condition. Two firearms, ammunitions and some sharp weapons were recovered from the spot, Rashid said.
