A man got onto the Metro tracks at Rajiv Chowk station and walked into the tunnel on Friday evening, creating chaos and panic among onlookers and security agencies. He was later caught by the CISF and was handed over to the police. The incident took place around 8.30 pm when the man, who remained unidentified till late evening, got down from the platform number and started walking into the tunnel. Witnesses said that some commuters suspected him to be a pickpocket and had caught hold of him when he jumped on the tracks to escape. He did not have money to pay the fine and was therefore handed over to the police for further probe," said a senior CISF officer.
