Ismail Hossain, 24 | CourtesyRAB seized seven books and a leaflet promoting extremismRapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a suspected member of the banned millitant outfit Ansar Al Islam form Raghurampur village of Puthia upazila in Rajshahi on Thursday. The arrested was identified as Ismail Hossain, 24, son of Golam Mostofa, hailing from Palashpur village of Khagrachhari, according to a press release of RAB-5. Members of RAB Mollapara camp in Rajshahi conducted a raid at Raghumrapur village on Thursday and arrested Ismail with seven books and a leaflet promoting extremism, said RAB. A case has been filed against Ismail in this connection at Puthia police station.
