MANILA, Philippines — A suspected drug pusher was killed in a shootout with anti-narcotics agents in Makati City early Saturday. According to the police report, members of the Makati Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a buy-bust operation at 1:30 a.m. along E. Jacinto Street, JP Rizal, Barangay West Rembo. Police said the suspect opened fire at the undercover police agents during the bust, triggering a shootout. The suspect was killed on the spot, police said. Recovered from the suspect’s black belt bag were 10 small plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and a caliber .38 revolver.
