The deceased, 26, has yet to be identified by the police. Confirming the matter to the Dhaka Tribune, Sharsha police station Sub Inspector (SI) Abul Hassan said: “Law enforcers received a tip off that a turf war gunfight is taking place in the Kunchemora area of the upazila in the early hours of Wednesday. SI Abul Hassan added that a case would be filed over the incident. Since January this year, four suspects have been killed in "gunfights" in Jessore.
