A gunman has been killed in a “gunfight” with police in Daulatpur upazila of Kushtia district. The deceased is Teni, 27, son of Alam Mondol, of Aria union’s Chatardara village in the upazila. The OC said Teni was declared dead after being taken to a Daulatpur hospital. He said family members and locals identified the deceased militant, who was an accused in several cases including murder. Police recovered a foreign-made pistol, a magazine and two rounds of bullets from the spot.
