KOTA KINABALU: A man believed to be an illegal firearms dealer was caught red-handed when he tried selling a pistol in Sandakan. “Further investigation led us to conduct a raid on the suspect’s house, where we recovered another bullet and arrested two men aged 33 and 37,” Sandakan district police chief Asst Comm Mohd Azhar Hamin said Tuesday. They were among 10 addicts and criminals arrested in Sandakan in the last few weeks. ACP Azhar said the seven other suspects were believed to be involved in various robbery and break-in cases. All the suspects, whose ages range from 15 to 37, have been detained to help police investigations.
