GUNMEN suspected to be herdsmen attacked two villages in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing 10 villagers, while scores sustained injuries. It was learnt that the survivors were rushed to Birnin Gwari General Hospital where they were receiving medical attention as of the time of this report. The attack by the armed herdsmen occurred in Dangaji village and Ungwan Gajere on Friday night and lasted till the early hours of Saturday morning. “Early this morning (Saturday), they went to another village, Kutemechi, in Unguwan Gajere, the herdsmen killed about nine men,” he said. It was also gathered that a week ago, about three people were reportedly kidnapped in Dangaji village.
