Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit has arrested suspected chief of the IT section of banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team from Bhatara area in Dhaka. The arrestee is Md Ashfaq-Ur-Rahman Ayon alias Arif alias Anik. DMP Deputy Commissioner (media) Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune Tuesday morning. He said the militant outfit’s IT chief Ashfaq was detained Monday night. Details regarding the matter will be disclosed in a press briefing later in the day.
