HALIFAX—A Halifax ferry proved to be a not-so-great getaway vehicle for a suspected robber. Halifax Regional Police say at 6:45 p.m. Friday officers were called to the Tim Hortons at 180 Wyse Road in Dartmouth. Police say a man told staff he had a gun and demanded money. After leaving the store, police say the suspect soon boarded a ferry and headed to Halifax. But at the request of police, the ferry turned around and came back to the Alderney Landing terminal, where the suspect was arrested.
