PETALING JAYA: A Chinese national allegedly involved in a fraud case was captured by the public and tied to a tree at a morning market in Puchong. The 56-year-old woman was tied to a tree with raffia string, according to pictures that surfaced on social media. ACP Megat said police learned she was allegedly caught cheating in August last year at the same market. The 58-year old victim from the earlier case spotted the suspect, leading to the public seizing her and tying her up. ACP Megat said the cheating case was being investigated under Section 420 of the Penal Code for cheating.
