ST. JOHN’S, N.L.—Police in Grand Falls-Windsor, N.L., say they’re still searching the area for a suspect in two armed robberies last Sunday. The RCMP are asking for the public to report sightings of Ian Williams, 27, from the nearby town of Bishop’s Falls, who they consider armed and dangerous. Williams, depicted in a photo as a white male with short brown hair and green eyes, is one of three suspects in two armed robberies at separate convenience stores on Sept. 22. Two other men have been arrested and were to face robbery charges in provincial court on Wednesday. RCMP said Friday that the force would be increasing its police presence in the west side of the central Newfoundland town as the search for Williams continues.
