Toronto police have arrested the man wanted in the death of 18-year-old Elliott Reid-Doyle, who was shot in a Scarborough plaza parking lot earlier this month. Police said Amal Jones, a 19-year-old from Toronto who they had previously identified as a suspect, surrendered at a station Sunday evening. Jones was charged with one count of second-degree murder. Last week, Toronto police released this surveillance camera image of a suspect wanted in the shooting death at a Scarborough plaza. Leslie Dunkley said last week “it’s just a matter of time” before they found the suspect.
