Suspect in Orange shooting is charged with murder as victims are identified


The suspect in a shooting at an Orange business that killed four people, including a 9-year-old boy, this week has been charged with multiple counts of murder and attempted murder, the Orange County district attorney’s office announced Friday. The Orange Police Department said the victims include Genevieve Raygoza, 28, Luis Tovar, 50, and Matthew Farias, 9. Gonzalez has been charged with four counts of murder, one count of attempted murder and two counts of attempted murder of a police officer, all felonies, according to the district attorney‘s office. So he will suffer the consequences.”Kimberly Edds, a spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office, said Gonzalez’s arraignment is expected to be postponed. Officers found two victims in the courtyard — the boy and a woman who was alive and taken to a hospital.
