COLOMBO (News1st): A 36-year-old suspect has been arrested for the possession of a firearm in Poojyagallana in Elpitiya. The weapon, a 12 bora firearm was manufactured overseas. The raid was carried out based on information received by the Anti-Corruption Unit of the Elpitiya Division, Sri Lanka Police said. The arrested suspect will be produced before the Elpitiya Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
