Suspect a WannaCry ransomware attack? Call this Maharashtra government helpline

In light of the recent WannaCry ransomware attacks on a few Maharashtra government office computers, the state has come up with helpline numbers for a few days to guide organisations and institutions prevent and remedy such such cyber attacks, if any. Last Friday, several countries across the globe saw ransomware attacks made by a virus called WannaCry. The hackers first lock the information on the computers, and then demand money for allowing access to it. To prevent any further attacks, the Maharashtra government issued a helpline number - 02536631777- for all people, organisations and institutions to call in case they have been infected, or if they want information on how to prevent a ransomeware infection. All calls on this number will be handled by malware specialists, who will guide people on prevention and remediation.”
