Nine individuals, including children, were injured after a shooting broke out on Memorial Day evening on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk in Florida. The shooting occurred due to a dispute between two groups, according to the police’s preliminary investigation. The Hollywood Beach Mayor, Josh Levy, was saddened and outraged by the shooting and stated that “innocent bystanders” were injured as a result of the altercation between the two groups. The Hollywood Police Department is urging locals to stay away from the crime scene as they continue their investigation. Hollywood Beach is located on Florida’s eastern coast, approximately ten miles south of Fort Lauderdale and twenty miles north of Miami.
