Julie Bishop, the foreign minister of Australia, was scheduled to visit India this month for talks with Sushma in preparation for a likely visit by the Australian Prime Mininster Malcolm Turnbull in March. But India told Australia Sushma would be unable to meet Bishop, who decided against her visit.
