Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj is set to meet Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Dhaka on Sunday, October 22. The meeting is scheduled to take place at 6:30pm at the prime minister’s official residence Ganabhaban. The press wing of the Prime Minister’s Office confirmed the matter in a statement released on Thursday. This time, she is visiting Bangladesh to attend the fourth Bangladesh-India Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meeting. According to diplomatic sources, the JCC meeting would review the implementation and progress of decisions that were taken during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to India in April this year.
