Four months into the Tigray war, stories of rape -- many involving multiple soldiers -- have become all-too-common, according to doctors and nurses in Ethiopia's northernmost region. The Ethiopian and Eritrean governments deny Eritrean soldiers are present in Tigray. - 'A feeling of insecurity' -Some of the most brutal rape stories in Tigray involve Eritrean soldiers, whose presence in the region has been widely documented. In the town of Wukro, north of Mekele, rape survivors shared similarly ghastly accounts of Eritreans' conduct. One described how four Eritrean soldiers raped her in December while a fifth held a gun to her husband's head and made him watch.
