Surrey's Gateway SkyTrain station reopens after medical emergency

TransLink officials announced that Gateway SkyTrain Station has reopened after being closed much of Wednesday afternoon due to a medical emergency. A TransLink spokesman said the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. PT, which left the station closed until just before 6 p.m. PT. Trains did not stop at the station during that time but were still able to get through to other Surrey stations. A bus bridge was set up between Surrey Central and Gateway. In announcing the reopening, TransLink said it was now operating at peak service levels on the Expo Line.
