Surprise checkpoints at To Kwa Wan uncovers 65 residents who violated testing order


Eight buildings on Mei King Street in To Kwa Wan have previously been included in the compulsory testing notice, requiring residents to undergo Covid testing. A joint enforcement operation this morning in To Kwa Wan found some 65 residents violated the compulsory testing notice from eight buildings in the area. The operation started at around 7.40am, health officials had checked the test records of over 790 residents during the operation, and found some 65 of them had violated a recent compulsory testing notice. Officials thanked residents for their cooperation to compile with the compulsory testing notice. "The government understands that the enforcement process may cause some inconvenience to the residents, but hopes that the residents can understand," a statement said.
