Surigao fisherman finds 16 bricks of suspected cocaine


MANILA, Philippines — A fisherman turned over to the police 16 bricks of suspected cocaine which he found along the shoreline of Lingig town in the province of Surigao del Sur, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported. In a report on Wednesday, the police said the bricks were found by Jolan Basadre Pucot, 25, who handed over the drugs on Tuesday night.
