The number of second-hand 'supercars' being advertised for sale has rocketed by 42 per cent in the past 12 months showing that even the wealthy are feeling the squeeze. Last month, 3,194 vehicles were listed on Auto Trader with asking prices in excess of £150,000. That compares with just 2,252 in April last year. The owners of luxury cars – including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys and Rolls-Royces – are having trouble finding buyers because the volume of searches for such vehicles has fallen by 4 per cent in 12 months. Richard Walker, Auto Trader's data and insights director, said: 'Some wealthier drivers are feeling the pinch and are now more willing to part company with their supercars.'
